Marlow Hall, an invented venue

A conference put on by the people who kept complaining about conferences.

Thornwick started in 2019 as forty people in a room above a pub, and it has stayed deliberately small: six hundred tickets, one venue, and every talk in a room you can walk between in four minutes. Speakers are chosen from an open call read blind, nobody buys a slot on the main stage, and the sponsor stands are along the route to the coffee rather than between you and the talks. If a talk is a product demonstration we will say so in the programme.
